On Monday, 25 May 2020, in the evening at around 20:00, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street, at the junction with Dubingių street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Volvo V70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
