On Sunday, 31 May 2020, in the afternoon at 12:30, in Kauno district municipality, Karmėlavos town, on Vilniaus street near No. 88, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Passat, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.04‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
