On Tuesday, 2 June 2020, in the morning at around 10:00, in Kretingos district municipality, on Žemaitės street near No. 2A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Meriva and a Honda Accord. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 84-year-old driver of the Opel (21 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
