On Wednesday, 3 June 2020, in the evening at around 19:00, in Plungės district municipality, on Dariaus ir Girėno street near No. 27, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 D and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
