On Friday, 5 June 2020, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Mituvos street, a bicycle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 25-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
