On Sunday, 14 June 2020, at night at 4:40, in Kaunas, on Parodos street near No. 6, a BMW X1 Xdrive 20D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.36‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
