On Sunday, 14 June 2020, in the afternoon at 11:45, in Joniškio district municipality, on the Ryga–Šiauliai–Tauragė–Kaliningradas main road (kilometre 7), a collision with a bicycle occurred. The accident was caused by a 61-year-old cyclist, who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (1.35‰ blood alcohol).
