On Wednesday, 17 June 2020, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on K. Baršausko street near No. 47, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-3 and a Toyota. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Saab (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
