On Sunday, 28 June 2020, in the afternoon at 15:10, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 24), a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 registered in Ireland hit an obstacle. One person was injured — a 16-year-old passenger of a Harley Davidson ,CLASSIC (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Suzuki (6 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
