On Tuesday, 14 July 2020, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kauno district municipality, Didvyrių village, on Jurbarko pl., at the junction with Aguonų street, a Volkswagen Golf hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 56-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (17 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules.
