On Monday, 10 August 2020, in the afternoon at 14:54, in Mažeikių district municipality, on the Mažeikiai–Plungė–Tauragė national road (kilometre 9.20), an Audi 80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to give way when changing direction.
