On Friday, 14 August 2020, in the morning at 6:57, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 62.20), a Honda Civic ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Honda (13 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
