On Sunday, 16 August 2020, in the evening at around 20:00, in Marijampolės municipality, on R. Juknevičiaus street near No. 26, a Volkswagen Touran hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 51-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene.
