On Tuesday, 18 August 2020, in the afternoon at 15:07, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Kėdainiai–Šėta–Ukmergė national road (kilometre 4), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Hyundai. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Opel, who violated overtaking rules. He was drunk (2.81‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
