On Sunday, 23 August 2020, at night at around 4:00, in Raseinių district municipality, Darbutų village, on the Ariogala–Betygala–Šiluva regional road (kilometre 2.65), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Volkswagen Polo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (8 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.61‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
