On Saturday, 29 August 2020, in the evening at 22:05, in Kaunas, on Prancūzų street, at the junction with Rambyno street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 and a Citroen C4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to give way when changing direction. She had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
