On Friday, 4 September 2020, in the afternoon at 13:05, in Vilnius, on Lukiškių street, at the junction with J. Tumo-Vaižganto street, a truck hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of a truck (6 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
