On Friday, 11 September 2020, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Vilkaviškio district municipality, on Gedimino street near No. 14, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the Opel (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. The driver was sober.
