On Saturday, 12 September 2020, in the afternoon at 16:40, in Kaunas, on Zanavykų street near No. 4, a Toyota Prius hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Toyota (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.25‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
