On Sunday, 13 September 2020, in the afternoon at 12:30, in Jonavos district municipality, Paryžiaus village, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 15.23), a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Yamaha XVS 1100. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (22 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.00‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
