On Sunday, 13 September 2020, in the afternoon at 13:02, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 294.52), a collision occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Jumper, a Volkswagen and an Audi A6. Two people were injured — a 24-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt) and the 28-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Citroen (25 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
