On Monday, 14 September 2020, in the afternoon at 12:30, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Dumpių village, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) national road (kilometre 220), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane Scenic and a Volkswagen Crafter 35. One person was injured — the 30-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
