On Saturday, 19 September 2020, in the evening at 19:30, in Klaipėda, on Šiaurės pr., at the junction with Kretingos street, a BMW 325 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 32-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
