On Thursday, 24 September 2020, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Dubingių street, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Solaris Urbino 12 and an Audi A4 Avant. One person was injured — a 81-year-old passenger of the Solaris (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Audi (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
