On Friday, 25 September 2020, in the evening at around 17:00, in Klaipėda, on Sausio 15-osios street, at the junction with Birutės street, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Avensis and a Kawasaki. Two people were injured — the 20-year-old driver of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient) and the 27-year-old driver of the Kawasaki (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Toyota (2 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
