On Wednesday, 12 May 2021, in the evening at 17:15, in Klaipėda, on Sausio 15-osios street, at the junction with Birutės street, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a KIA Motors Ceed and a Peugeot Vivacity. One person was injured — the 15-year-old driver of the Peugeot (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the KIA Motors (12 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
