On Sunday, 27 September 2020, at night at 0:30, in Kaunas, on Baltų pr., at the junction with J. Vienožinskio street, a Mazda 3 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Mazda (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.17‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
