On Tuesday, 29 September 2020, in the evening at 18:30, in Kaunas, on R. Kalantos street, at the junction with K. Baršausko street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Colt and a Citroen Berlingo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.52‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
