On Wednesday, 14 October 2020, in the afternoon at 15:33, in Kaunas, on Vokiečių street near No. 160, a Nissan X-Trail ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Nissan (32 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.51‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
