On Thursday, 29 October 2020, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Siūlų street near No. 1, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Colt and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, there was freezing rain, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
