On Thursday, 5 November 2020, in the evening at 21:15, in Tauragės district municipality, on Gedimino street, at the junction with Prezidento street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat registered in Austria and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.83‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
