On Friday, 6 November 2020, in the morning at 10:06, in Šiaulių district municipality, Vijolių village, on Vilniaus street, at the junction with Gintaro street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a truck. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 72-year-old driver of the Opel (21 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
