On Monday, 23 November 2020, in the afternoon at 16:10, in Trakų district municipality, on the Trakai–Rūdiškės–Pivašiūnai–Alytus national road (kilometre 19.30), a Skoda Octavia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Skoda (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.48‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
