On Wednesday, 25 November 2020, in the evening at around 17:00, in Šakių district municipality, Batiškių village, on the Pilviškiai–Šakiai–Jurbarkas national road (kilometre 34.18), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel and a Peugeot 807. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who violated overtaking rules. He fled the scene.
