On Friday, 18 December 2020, at night at 2:46, in Alytus, on Naujoji street, at the junction with Tvirtovės street, a BMW 530 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW (3 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.27‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
