On Friday, 25 December 2020, in the evening at 21:49, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 182.65), a Chrysler Voyager ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Chrysler (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
