On Saturday, 26 December 2020, in the afternoon at 15:40, in Kauno district municipality, Čekiškės town, on L. Markelio street near No. 1, a Peugeot 307 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.41‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
