On Friday, 26 February 2021, in the evening at 17:15, in Vilnius, on Geležinkelio street near No. 5, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a Fiat Ducato hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
