On Saturday, 27 February 2021, in the morning at 10:26, in Panevėžys, on Nemuno street, at the junction with Klaipėdos street, a Toyota Corolla hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. Two people were injured — a 31-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient) and a 1-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Toyota (15 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
