On Sunday, 7 March 2021, in the morning at 10:47, in Vilnius, on Eišiškių pl. near No. 47, a Volkswagen Passat hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk, had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was icy.
