On Saturday, 13 March 2021, in the afternoon at 12:15, in Kaunas, on Vytauto pr., at the junction with Šiaulių street, an Opel Signum hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 61-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Opel (23 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
