On Saturday, 20 March 2021, at night at 2:56, in Kaunas, on Vokiečių street near No. 82, a Mercedes-Benz C 220 CDI ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (0.52‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
