On Friday, 26 March 2021, in the morning at 10:10, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 138.30), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a MAN TGA 18.390, a BMW X6 Xdrive 30D and a Krone SDP27. Three people were injured — the 52-year-old driver of the BMW (hospitalized), a 17-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient) and a 41-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the MAN (28 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
