On Sunday, 4 April 2021, at night at 3:50, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Berčiūnai–Dranonys–Gailiūnai regional road (kilometre 9.18), a Fiat Scudo ran off the road. One person was injured — a 24-year-old passenger of the Fiat (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Fiat, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
