On Sunday, 11 April 2021, in the afternoon at 14:30, in Kaunas, on Breslaujos street near No. 13, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna and a Suzuki SV 650. Two people were injured — the 40-year-old driver of the Suzuki (severely injured, treated as an outpatient) and a 36-year-old passenger of the Suzuki (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Renault, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
