On Saturday, 24 April 2021, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street, at the junction with Chemijos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Suzuki and a Skoda Fabia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Suzuki (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
