On Tuesday, 18 May 2021, in the afternoon at 14:50, in Biržų district municipality, on Vabalninko street, at the junction with Kęstučio street, at a pedestrian crossing, an Opel Astra hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the Opel (22 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
