On Monday, 7 June 2021, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kauno district municipality, on Vytauto street, at the junction with Vasario 16-osios street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Scania R420 registered in Poland, a trailer/semi-trailer 3.5–10 t and a Peugeot. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Scania (15 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
