On Friday, 2 July 2021, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kauno city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 100), an Audi A4 Avant hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Audi (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
