On Friday, 27 August 2021, in the morning at around 9:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zapyškis–Šakiai national road (kilometre 27), a Peugeot 307 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
